Mushrif Mall Abu Dhabi Implements Ticketless AI Parking System

Abu Dhabi’s Mushrif Mall has removed parking barriers, implementing an AI-based system with free parking for up to four hours.

Mushrif Mall in Abu Dhabi has transitioned to a ticketless, free-flow parking system, replacing traditional barriers and SMS-based payments with AI-powered number plate recognition. The "Parkit" system, now active, automates vehicle entry and exit to reduce congestion at mall access points. Parking Rates and Time Limits Under the new regulations, parking remains free for visitors during the first three hours on weekdays and the first four hours on weekends and public holidays. Once the free period expires, the mall applies a tiered pricing structure. On weekdays, the fourth hour is charged at AED 10, followed by AED 5 for every subsequent hour. On weekends, the fifth hour costs AED 10, with each following hour priced at AED 5. The system enforces a maximum daily parking fee of AED 150. Drivers are granted a 15-minute grace period to exit the premises after completing their payment. For People of Determination, parking remains free of charge, provided their vehicle details are registered through the Parkit platform or at the mall’s customer service desk.
