The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has issued an urgent health alert regarding the circulation of counterfeit Botox products within the country. The ministry warned healthcare providers and the public to exercise extreme caution, noting that these falsified medical products pose significant risks to patient safety and public health. Risks of Falsified Medical Products The health authority stated that counterfeit botulinum toxin injections often bypass regulated supply chains and lack the necessary quality controls.
