Ministry of Interior launches innovation leadership programme for security officers

The Ministry of Interior and MBRSG have commenced a six-month training initiative to equip officers with advanced innovation and foresight skills.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) and the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) launched the third edition of the Executive Programme for Innovation Leaders on Monday, 31 August, in Dubai. The six-month initiative aims to train a specialized cohort of Ministry officers to develop proactive security and government solutions. Training Structure and Academic Requirements The programme involves 205 training hours delivered through an integrated model of in-person workshops, virtual instruction, and practical field visits. Participants will move through four specific learning phases: developing an innovative mindset, mastering technical tools, applying concepts within a government framework, and finalising projects focused on future foresight. Mohammed Al-Khatib, Senior Director of Support Services at MBRSG, and Lt. Col. Engineer Rashid Khalfan Al Kindi, Director of the MoI Innovation Centre, attended the launch at the school’s Dubai headquarters.
