Menassah Distribution partners with Akdem Store to supply 1,717 Emirati books to the Turkish market during the Istanbul book fair.
Menassah Distribution Company has deployed 1,717 books from 91 Emirati publishing houses to the Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair 2026, marking a targeted expansion into the Turkish literary market. The showcase, which includes 481 unique titles, spans literature, cultural studies, intellectual works, and children’s publishing. New Distribution Agreement Signed During the fair on Tuesday, 18 August, Menassah Distribution signed a formal cooperation agreement with Arab Book House – Akdem Store, a Turkish distribution specialist. The partnership establishes a logistics framework to place Emirati and Arabic publications into a wider network of Turkish bookstores and physical points of sale. The Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair, which runs from 15 August to 23 August, serves as the primary platform for this rollout. The move follows a directive to increase the international footprint of UAE-based publishers by leveraging regional hubs with high demand for Arabic-language content. Market Expansion Strategy Rashid Al Kous, General Manager of Menassah Distribution Company, stated that the participation in Istanbul is part of a broader strategy to diversify the company's global distribution network.
