MENA Golf Tour expands qualifying to US and UK for 2026 season

The Dubai-based MENA Golf Tour on Tuesday, 25 August, announced the launch of three international Qualifying Schools (Q-Schools) across the United Kingdom and the United States to determine playing status for its 2026/27 season. The expansion marks the first time the tour, which remains the only Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) recognised circuit in the region, will hold a qualifying event in North America. The move aims to widen the talent pool for the upcoming 12-tournament schedule by providing regional exemptions to international professionals. International qualifying schedule and venues The Q-School programme begins at the Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club near Edinburgh, Scotland, on 1 and 2 October. The circuit then moves to the Slammer & Squire at World Golf Village in Florida, United States, from 13 to 15 October. The final qualifying event is scheduled for the Old Course at the Royal Automobile Club’s Woodcote Park estate in Epsom, England, on 20 and 21 October. According to tour regulations, the top 10 finishers at each of the three venues will be awarded Category 3 status. This specific ranking provides a full exemption for every tournament on the 2026/27 MENA Golf Tour calendar.
