Lima Estate, a massive industrial development located south of Manila in Batangas, has expanded its footprint to nearly 1,000 hectares, resulting in the creation of 75,000 jobs. The project, managed by Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates, is emerging as a primary industrial central business district (CBD) for the Philippines, rivaling traditional hubs like Makati and Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in scale. The development spans the municipalities of Lipa and Malvar and currently hosts more than 180 global companies. While the majority of the 75,000 positions are within the manufacturing and industrial sectors, the estate has integrated commercial and retail components that account for approximately 4,000 jobs. The site includes a 167-room hotel, a transportation hub, and 138 retail stores and restaurants.
