The Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has implemented new mandatory check-in deadlines at Kuwait International Airport, tightening the window for passengers to secure boarding passes before departure. The directive standardizes closing times across all terminals to streamline ground operations and reduce flight delays. New Deadlines for GCC and International Routes Under the updated regulations, check-in counters for flights bound for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and Arab nations will close exactly 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Passengers traveling on these regional routes who fail to complete the check-in process within this timeframe will be denied boarding. For all other international destinations, the DGCA has established a stricter 90-minute cut-off. Travelers on long-haul or non-Arab international flights must finalize their check-in at least one and a half hours before takeoff.
