Jordan air defences intercept 18 Iranian missiles to protect airspace

The Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) intercepted and destroyed 18 Iranian ballistic missiles targeting the kingdom on Wednesday, 9 September, following a large-scale aerial bombardment launched from Iranian territory. The military confirmed that its air defence systems engaged a total of 20 missiles directed at Jordanian airspace.
