Five Indian nationals were evacuated to safety on Friday after a projectile struck a Kuwait-flagged tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, the Indian Embassy in Oman confirmed. The crew members were aboard the MT Kazimah III when the vessel was hit, prompting a coordinated rescue operation between Indian diplomatic officials and Omani authorities. The embassy announced on Saturday, 3 October, that all five Indian sailors have been brought ashore safely.
