IHCL has appointed Saurabh Tiwari as Vice President for the Middle East, Maldives and Sri Lanka, expanding his leadership mandate across key international markets.
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has elevated hospitality executive Saurabh Tiwari to the role of Vice President – Middle East, Maldives & Sri Lanka , expanding his leadership responsibilities across three important international markets for the hotel group. The appointment marks another step in Tiwari’s more than two-decade career in luxury hospitality and follows a period of increasing regional responsibility within IHCL. Tiwari joined Taj Dubai in 2021 , where he played a role in strengthening commercial performance, guest experience and team development. He was subsequently appointed Area Director of Operations in 2024 before taking on his latest regional leadership position. Expanded Regional Mandate In his new role, Tiwari will provide strategic leadership across IHCL’s operations in the Middle East, Maldives and Sri Lanka . His mandate will include operational excellence, commercial performance, talent development and guest experience, alongside supporting the company’s wider growth plans across the region. IHCL’s Middle East portfolio includes prominent properties such as Taj Dubai, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm, Dubai and Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers .
