The Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC Dubai), in conjunction with the Consulate General of India in Dubai, officially commemorated India’s 80th Independence Day with an evening celebrating India’s global rise and the expanding strategic partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates. Held at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, the gathering was organized under the theme “Two Nations, One Heart,” convening former ministers, senior diplomats, UAE government dignitaries, institutional investors, and business leaders. The event brought together a distinguished roster of dignitaries, including former Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of India, Meenakshi Lekhi; Consul General of India to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy; Sarah Al Muhaideb, Relations Manager for Business Groups at Dubai Chambers; and title sponsor Eugene Mayne, Founder and Group CEO of Tristar.
