The IAEA reports a loss of "continuity of knowledge" as Iran expands its 60% enriched uranium stockpile to 182.3kg.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported a significant lack of progress in monitoring Iran’s nuclear program, stating that the agency has been unable to verify whether Tehran is diverting materials for non-peaceful purposes. In a confidential quarterly report circulated to member states, Director General Rafael Grossi confirmed that the watchdog lacks "continuity of knowledge" regarding centrifuge production and uranium enrichment levels. Stockpiles Reach Near-Weapon Grade Levels According to the latest data, Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to 60% purity—a technical step away from the 90% grade required for weapons—has increased to 182.3 kilograms. This represents a growth of 17.6 kilograms since the previous report in August. Total enriched uranium stockpiles have now reached an estimated 6,604.4 kilograms, far exceeding the limits established under the now-collapsed 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
