Airfares between the UAE and popular destinations in India have dropped by 30 to 40 per cent after the peak summer season, travel agents have confirmed. The rush of families returning to the UAE for the new school term, which began on August 26, led to record-high ticket prices. Now that the academic year is under way, demand has softened, presenting a cost-saving opportunity for other travellers.
