The Dubai-based carrier expands its footprint in Nepal with daily flights to Pokhara International Airport via Kathmandu.
Flydubai has expanded its operations in Nepal with the launch of a new daily service to Pokhara International Airport (PKR). The service, which operates from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB), provides a direct link to Nepal’s second-largest city and a primary gateway to the Himalayas. Flight Schedule and Routing The daily flights are structured to serve both the tourism and labor markets. Flights depart Dubai for Pokhara via a transit stop at Kathmandu International Airport (KTM). On the return leg, flights operate from Pokhara to Dubai, either directly or with a stop in Kathmandu, depending on the specific flight rotation. This addition brings flydubai’s total frequency to Nepal to 28 flights per week. The airline first began operations to Nepal in 2009 with a service to Kathmandu. The addition of Pokhara is intended to distribute traffic more effectively across the country and reduce the pressure on the capital’s sole international gateway.
