The European Union (EU) on Friday, 25 September, detailed an expanded cooperation framework with the UAE, identifying the bloc as the Emirates' primary investment partner and its second-largest trading partner. The official statement from the EU Delegation to the UAE confirmed that bilateral relations are transitioning into a structured alliance focused on artificial intelligence (AI), green energy, and regional security. The EU now serves as the UAE’s leading source of foreign investment, while the UAE maintains its position as the bloc’s second-most significant trading partner.
