Etihad Rail Releases Passenger Rules Prohibiting Specific Items Onboard

Etihad Rail has released the official code of conduct and baggage regulations for passengers using the UAE’s national rail network. The guidelines specify prohibited items, animal transport policies, and behavioral expectations to ensure safety across the system connecting the seven emirates. Prohibited Items and Substances Passengers are strictly prohibited from carrying alcohol, illegal drugs, and hazardous materials, including flammable liquids, chemicals, and explosives. The regulations also ban weapons of any kind, including decorative or replica firearms and sharp objects that could pose a threat to safety. Additionally, items that emit strong or offensive odors are not permitted on board to maintain air quality in enclosed carriages. Bicycles are allowed on trains provided they are foldable and stored in designated areas. Non-folding bicycles are currently excluded from passenger cabins.
