Etihad Rail Confirms 11 Passenger Station Locations Across UAE

The national rail network identifies 11 key hubs linking Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and the Northern Emirates.

Etihad Rail has finalized the locations for all 11 passenger stations across the United Arab Emirates, detailing a network that will connect the country’s major population centers from the border of Saudi Arabia to the border of Oman. The 900-kilometer rail infrastructure is designed to link all seven emirates, facilitating high-speed transit for approximately 36 million passengers annually by 2030. Strategic Hubs and Route Map The confirmed passenger stations include key urban and industrial hubs: Abu Dhabi City, Zayed International Airport, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Dhaid, and Fujairah. The western region will be served by stations in Al Ruwais, Al Mirfa, and Al Sila, while Al Ain and Madinat Zayed are also integrated into the primary line. This distribution ensures that both metropolitan centers and remote industrial zones are accessible via a single rail corridor.
