Etihad Airways has commenced its first direct flight service between Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Palma de Mallorca (PMI). The new route expands the UAE national carrier’s Spanish network, providing the first non-stop link between the two cities. Seasonal Flight Schedule The service operates twice weekly, scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays. Etihad utilizes the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on this route, featuring a two-class configuration with Business and Economy cabins. The flight duration is approximately seven to eight hours, significantly reducing travel time for passengers who previously relied on connecting flights through mainland European hubs. The addition of Palma de Mallorca brings Etihad’s total number of Spanish destinations to four. The airline already maintains regular scheduled services to Madrid, Barcelona, and Malaga.
