Etihad Airways doubles Chicago flights and expands Charlotte service to daily

Etihad Airways to operate 42 weekly flights to the United States from June 2025 as Chicago and Charlotte routes expand capacity.
Etihad Airways will significantly expand its North American operations beginning June 2025, doubling its frequency to Chicago and moving its Charlotte service to a daily schedule. The Abu Dhabi-based carrier is increasing its total weekly flights to the United States to 42 as part of a wider network growth strategy. Increased Frequency to Chicago and Charlotte Starting June 1, 2025, flights between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) will increase from seven to 14 per week. The double-daily service targets rising demand for business and leisure travel between the UAE and the midwestern United States. This expansion provides travelers with more flexibility and improved connectivity to domestic U.S. destinations through Etihad’s partners. The carrier’s newest U.S. route to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), which launched earlier this year, will also see a capacity boost. Currently operating less than daily, the service will transition to a full daily flight schedule by June.
