Emirati women healthcare leaders mark national day with Etihad Rail journey

Burjeel Holdings and Etihad Rail host 30 medical professionals for an intergenerational leadership journey from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah.
A group of 30 Emirati women healthcare professionals traveled from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah aboard Etihad Rail on Thursday, 27 August, to mark the upcoming Emirati Women’s Day. The initiative, organized by Burjeel Holdings in partnership with Etihad Rail, brought together senior physicians, clinicians, and administrative staff representing three distinct generations of the UAE’s medical sector. Intergenerational dialogue on healthcare The "Leadership Journey" served as a platform for 30 participants to discuss the transformation of the UAE’s healthcare landscape over recent decades. The cohort included established leaders who entered the field during its early development and young professionals currently beginning their medical careers. Discussions focused on professional resilience, career development, and the expansion of clinical specialties available to Emirati women.
