Emirates has launched a comprehensive multi-risk travel insurance policy for all passengers, providing global coverage for medical emergencies and trip disruptions. The policy, provided through a partnership with American International Group (AIG), is automatically applied to all tickets purchased for travel on the Dubai-based carrier. Coverage and Financial Limits The insurance package includes emergency medical expenses and evacuation coverage of up to $500,000 for international trips. It also features protection for trip cancellations or curtailments, offering up to $7,500 if a traveler is unable to fly due to specific reasons, including COVID-19 diagnosis or other unforeseen personal circumstances. The policy extends to baggage loss and delays, personal accidents, and flight interruptions.
