Emirates has issued an urgent travel advisory for passengers heading to the United States and Canada, following the implementation of stricter entry protocols by North American authorities in response to Ebola virus concerns. The Dubai-based carrier updated its travel guidelines to ensure compliance with mandatory health screenings and designated arrival points for passengers originating from or having visited affected regions. US Entry Mandates and Designated Airports Under the updated US federal regulations, all passengers who have been in an Ebola-affected region within the 21 days prior to their arrival must enter the United States through one of five specific airports. These designated gateways include New York (JFK), Newark (EWR), Chicago (ORD), Atlanta (ATL), and Washington Dulles (IAD). Emirates confirmed it will verify passenger travel history during the check-in process at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
