Emirates has issued a travel advisory for passengers flying through Dubai International Airport (DXB) during the upcoming Eid holiday. The airline expects a significant surge in passenger volume and is urging travellers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled departure time to navigate terminal congestion. Strict Check-in and Boarding Timelines The Dubai-based carrier confirmed that check-in counters will close strictly 60 minutes prior to departure. Passengers who fail to complete check-in by this deadline will not be permitted to board. Boarding gates are scheduled to open 90 minutes before take-off and will close 20 minutes before the flight departs. Emirates has advised passengers to plan their commute to Terminal 3 accordingly to account for increased road traffic during the festive period. Digital and Remote Check-in Services To streamline the airport experience, Emirates recommends using the 24 self-service bag drop machines and 44 check-in kiosks located at Terminal 3.
