Emirates has issued a travel advisory for the Eid Al Adha period, anticipating more than 160,000 passengers to transit through Dubai International (DXB) between June 14 and June 24. The airline identified June 15 to June 18 as the period with the highest passenger volumes. Check-in and Boarding Deadlines To manage the surge, Emirates recommends travelers arrive at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled departure. The carrier confirmed that check-in counters will close 90 minutes prior to take-off. Passengers who fail to complete check-in by this deadline will not be permitted to board. Boarding gates are scheduled to close strictly 20 minutes before departure. Emirates noted that travelers should allow sufficient time to navigate terminal crowds and security screenings during the peak holiday window. Digital Solutions and Remote Services The airline is encouraging the use of digital tools to expedite the airport experience. Passengers can check in via the Emirates app up to 48 hours in advance and download digital boarding passes.
