UAE national carriers Emirates and Etihad Airways have achieved outstanding recognition in the 2026 Flyers' Choice Awards, securing top positions across regional and international categories. Organized by aviation rating agency AirlineRatings.com , the annual awards differ from traditional industry panels by relying entirely on direct passenger votes to evaluate global airlines across cabin comfort, service standards, brand trust, and operational excellence. Dubai-based Emirates was voted the preferred airline in the Middle East and Africa, topping regional rankings ahead of Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways.
