UAE defense giant EDGE Group establishes a permanent Paris base to drive industrial cooperation and sales across the European market.
EDGE Group, the UAE’s state-owned defense and technology conglomerate, has established a permanent office in Paris, marking a strategic pivot toward the European continent. The move follows a series of international acquisitions and signals the company's intent to transition from a regional supplier to a global exporter of advanced military hardware. Strategic European Expansion Managing Director and CEO Hamad Al Marar identified Europe as the company’s "next large market," emphasizing that the Paris base will serve as a hub for industrial cooperation and joint development projects. The French capital was selected due to its central role in European defense policy and its established ecosystem of aerospace and security firms. EDGE plans to utilize the office to secure sovereign partnerships and integrate its portfolio of autonomous systems and smart weapons into European supply chains.
