Dubai Airports has officially announced that Dubai International (DXB) has experienced exceptional growth during the first half of 2026, welcoming a historic 44.9 million passengers. This record performance represents a significant 8% increase in traffic compared to the same period in 2025, solidifying DXB’s critical role as a global aviation crossroads and its unwavering support for the emirate's broader economic ambitions. The surge, which saw the airport manage an average of 7.5 million travelers monthly, was fueled by unprecedented regional and international demand, high-efficiency operations, and strategic capacity enhancements across DXB’s existing infrastructure.
