Dubai World Trade Centre schedules 100+ events for Q4 2026 as Dh10bn Dubai Exhibition Centre expansion hits new milestones.
Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has confirmed it will host more than 100 exhibitions and conferences during the final quarter of 2026. The announcement on Wednesday, 9 September, coincides with the ongoing Dh10 billion expansion of the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai, a project designed to increase the emirate's capacity for large-scale international trade shows. Major Trade Shows and GITEX Global The Q4 calendar includes high-profile events such as Middle East Energy and the Arabian Travel Market, which opened in September. These are followed by WETEX, Gulfood Manufacturing, The Big 5 Global, and Beautyworld Dubai in October. The season will conclude in December with GITEX Global, which is projected to attract 200,000 technology executives and 6,800 exhibitors from 180 countries. Events are distributed between two primary venues: the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) in the Central Business District and the DEC at Expo City Dubai. Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President at DWTC, stated that the business events sector continues to drive Dubai’s economic momentum by facilitating trade and partnerships for international investors. DEC Phase 2 Expansion Status Infrastructure work is currently concentrated on Phase 2 of the DEC expansion.
