Dubai Women Establishment marks 20 years with drive for new economic policies

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, inaugurated the second edition of the Emirati Women’s Forum 2026 on Thursday, 27 August. The event, held at Madinat Jumeirah, coincides with the annual Emirati Women’s Day celebrations under the theme "We Emerge Stronger and Better." High-Level Participation and Leadership The Forum, organised by the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE), was held under the patronage of Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Gender Balance Council. The gathering drew more than 2,000 participants, including senior government officials, academics, and private sector leaders. The 2026 edition featured seven main sessions and six specialised workshops led by 18 expert speakers. Accompanying Sheikha Latifa were several high-ranking officials, including Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of Education, and Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary-General of the UAE Cabinet.
