Dubai summit books 95% of floor space as global security leaders eye 2026 event

Emirates has signed a three-year strategic partnership to become the official airline partner of the World Police Summit (WPS), a move designed to facilitate the travel of global security leaders to Dubai. The agreement, announced on Sunday, 27 September, arrives as the city prepares to host the fifth edition of the summit from 16 to 18 November 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Strategic connectivity for security leaders Under the terms of the deal, Emirates will utilize its global network to support the movement of police chiefs, policymakers, and security experts to the event. The airline will also integrate dedicated WPS content into its 'ice' inflight entertainment system, allowing international passengers to access the summit’s agenda and mission before landing. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, stated that the partnership will support industry partners and experts traveling to address challenges in infrastructure, border security, and technology. The summit is organized by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE. High demand for 2026 edition The 2026 summit is already seeing high international interest, with 95 per cent of exhibition space booked and more than 150 speakers confirmed. The upcoming event will focus on artificial intelligence in policing, cybercrime, financial fraud, and organized crime, alongside the safety of transport networks.
