Dubai South officials hosted a senior delegation from the Dubai Land Department (DLD) this week to review the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects and residential developments across the 145-square-kilometre master-planned city. The visit focused on the integration of smart city technologies and the readiness of the various districts to support Dubai’s long-term economic expansion. Infrastructure and Residential Growth The DLD delegation inspected several key zones within Dubai South, including the Residential District and the Logistics District. Discussions centered on the regulatory alignment of new real estate offerings and the progress of critical utilities and road networks designed to service an eventual population of one million people. The developer provided updates on the construction of the Golf District and the phased delivery of residential units, which aim to meet the growing demand for housing near the Al Maktoum International Airport.
