DUBAI, UAE — In a move that completely redefines the parameters of modern urban design, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, has formally approved an expansive portfolio of developmental projects backed by a monumental budget of Dh18 billion. Strategically spanning transit logistics, cultural development, economic modernization, and urban planning, this highly integrated state initiative is explicitly designed to future-proof the emirate’s social fabric, drastically improve the daily commute of millions of residents, and cement Dubai as the undisputed global capital for creative talent. At the core of the infrastructure overhaul is the highly advanced First Al Khail Street Development Plan. Recognizing the logistical demands of a rapidly expanding population, this project introduces a massive corridor running completely parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road.
