Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is expanding its network of dedicated bus and taxi lanes by 20 kilometers across six major arterial roads. The infrastructure project aims to reduce travel times and increase the efficiency of the city’s public transport system by up to 30% on certain routes. Network Expansion and Locations The expansion covers six key streets: Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Al Khaleej, Khalid bin Al Waleed, Al Ghubaiba, Sheikh Rashid, and 2nd December St. This addition brings the total length of dedicated lanes in Dubai to 31.2 kilometers, up from the previous 11.2 kilometers.
