The United Arab Emirates real estate sector has logged another historic performance, with Dubai Land Department recording AED 419.94 billion in total real estate transactions during the first half of 2026. The property market in the United Arab Emirates has reaffirmed its standing as one of the world's premier investment destinations. Official data published by the Dubai Land Department demonstrates remarkable momentum, with total real estate transactions reaching an impressive AED 419.94 billion across 112,850 deals during the first half of 2026. Out of this total, direct property sales accounted for more than AED 286.44 billion, underscoring the strong capital inflows shaping the nation’s urban landscape. A major highlight of this period is the dramatic rise in commercial real estate demand. Off-plan office sales experienced an unprecedented surge, recording AED 13.1 billion across 1,668 transactions. Remarkably, this single six-month figure exceeds the total combined off-plan office sales registered between 2019 and 2025. Industry analysts attribute this surge to global corporations, financial institutions, and tech enterprises establishing permanent regional headquarters across Dubai’s main business districts. Residential property sales remained equally robust, split between completed ready-move homes valued at AED 146.69 billion and off-plan residential developments totaling AED 139.75 billion.
