Dubai completes 104 real estate projects worth over AED 111 billion in H1 2026, adding 24,537 new units to the market in a 52% value surge.

DUBAI — Underlining the sustained structural momentum and deep international investor confidence anchoring the emirate’s property market, Dubai’s real estate sector completed 104 major development projects with a combined investment value exceeding AED 111 billion during the first half of 2026. Official data published by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) confirms that completed project numbers increased by more than 38.7 percent compared to the 75 projects delivered during H1 2025, while total completed capital value surged by an impressive 52 percent from AED 73 billion recorded during the same period last year. The stellar performance was accompanied by substantial expansion in residential supply, providing arriving international professionals, institutional funds, and domestic families with high-specification living spaces. The number of newly completed and handed-over real estate units rose by more than 36 percent to reach 24,537 units during the six-month window, compared to 18,043 units delivered in the first half of 2025. Concurrently, the total completed built-up area ready for handover expanded by 23.4 percent to reach 1.95 million square metres.
