Dubai Ports security gates processed 3,863,908 vehicles and 7,377,222 passengers during the first half of 2024, maintaining high operational efficiency across the emirate’s primary maritime hubs. The figures, released by the General Department of Ports Security at Dubai Police, cover activity at Jebel Ali Port, Port Rashid, and Al Hamriya Port. Security Seizures and Permits Security teams intercepted 20,405 prohibited items during the six-month period. These seizures included knives and other restricted materials identified through advanced scanning technologies and manual inspections. The department also issued 16,913 port entry permits to individuals and companies, ensuring regulated access to restricted maritime zones.
