Dubai Police recovered and returned approximately AED 3,340 (Rs 76,000) to a tourist who lost the cash in a Dubai shopping mall shortly before flying out of the country. The funds were returned to the owner in their home country following a successful identification and coordination process by local authorities. Rapid Recovery and Identification The tourist misplaced the cash while visiting a major shopping destination in the emirate. The loss was only realized as the individual prepared for departure or had already reached the airport. Upon finding the lost currency, mall security and Dubai Police initiated standard protocols to locate the rightful owner through surveillance footage and transaction records.
