Dubai Police rescue teams successfully extracted two workers whose limbs became trapped in industrial meat-processing machinery in separate incidents on Friday, 7 August. The operations involved the General Department of Transport and Rescue, which deployed specialized hydraulic equipment to free the individuals without causing further life-threatening injuries. The first incident occurred at a food processing facility where a worker’s hand was caught deep within a grinding unit. Rescue teams arrived to find the victim in critical condition due to severe blood loss. Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Al Hammadi, Director of the Search and Rescue Department, confirmed that teams had to partially dismantle the machine while simultaneously performing emergency medical stabilization on-site.
