Demonstrating this dual priority on a global scale, Dubai Police has officially unveiled the second generation of its legendary Ghiath smart patrol vehicle. In a highly anticipated launch event, law enforcement leadership revealed that the next-generation patrol vehicle has transitioned onto an advanced plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) platform, leveraging the mechanical sophistication of the DENZA B8 SUV—a premium new-energy vehicle co-developed by global green mobility leader BYD. The unveiling marked a major institutional milestone, formalized through the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dubai Police and Al-Futtaim, one of the region’s most prominent corporate conglomerates.
