Dubai Police rescue teams responded to 1,844 emergency callouts during the first quarter of 2026, managing a range of land and maritime incidents across the emirate. The Land Rescue Department and the Maritime Rescue Department executed these missions to maintain public safety and provide rapid response to critical accidents. Land Rescue Operations The Land Rescue Department handled 1,749 incidents between January and March 2026. Data indicates that response times for emergency calls averaged seven minutes and 32 seconds, surpassing the department's target of seven minutes and 50 seconds. For non-emergency calls, teams reached locations within 11 minutes and 30 seconds, well ahead of the 13-minute performance target. Specialized units within the department performed 77 specific rescue operations, including extracting individuals trapped in vehicles following road accidents and responding to stuck elevators.
