The Dubai Palm Monorail has resumed operations following a six-month closure for maintenance and technical upgrades. The transit system, which serves as a primary link between the Palm Jumeirah mainland and the island’s crescent, reopened to passengers this week ahead of the peak winter tourism season. Operational details and stations Operated by Nakheel, the 5.5-kilometre driverless system connects five major stations: Gateway, Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall, and Atlantis Aquaventure. The Pointe station remains part of the network, though access is subject to ongoing redevelopment in the surrounding area. Services run daily starting from 9:00 AM, with trains departing every 15 minutes. Ticketing remains integrated with the city’s transport infrastructure, allowing passengers to use Nol cards for entry. Standard fares are priced at Dh10 for a single trip to Nakheel Mall and Dh15 for a return journey, while a full trip to Atlantis Aquaventure costs Dh20 for a single and Dh30 for a return ticket.
