Dubai Mall recorded a massive surge in visitor numbers during the first days of Eid Al Fitr as residents and tourists converged on Downtown Dubai for the holiday period. The influx of shoppers and families led to near-capacity crowds across the 1.1 million-square-metre retail complex, requiring active crowd management by mall security and local authorities. Traffic and Parking Management To accommodate the surge, parking facilities at Dubai Mall, which provide over 14,000 spaces, reached full capacity early in the afternoon on the first day of Eid.
