Dubai launches Agentic AI Accelerator to automate 33 government entities

Dubai Future Foundation targets 33 government entities to deploy autonomous AI services across 300 public use cases.

The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) launched the "Agentic AI for Government Services Accelerator" on Monday, 5 October, targeting the rapid deployment of autonomous artificial intelligence across 33 government entities. The initiative, managed by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), aims to transition public services from reactive responses to predictive, automated systems. 300 Public-Facing Use Cases Identified In its initial phase, the programme will evaluate more than 300 public-facing use cases to determine which services benefit most from agentic AI integration. Unlike traditional AI, agentic AI can independently identify tasks, analyze datasets, and model scenarios to execute complex workflows. Participating departments will collaborate with technology firms certified under the Dubai AI Seal, a regulatory framework designed to verify trusted AI providers. The accelerator is a joint effort between DFF, Digital Dubai, and the Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC). Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, stated that the project utilizes integrated digital infrastructure to move toward a government model that anticipates resident needs through smarter, personalized digital experiences.
