DUBAI — In a strategic move to reinforce community engagement and amplify global tourism, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has launched "A Dubai Invite"—a dedicated city ambassador platform engineered to celebrate the emirate’s multicultural resident base. The innovative initiative offers citizens and expatriate residents substantial incentives to host visiting international family members and friends during the summer and autumn months. Under the framework of the program, any UAE resident aged 18 or older holding a valid Emirates ID can register their overseas guests via the official DET digital portal prior to their arrival. When these nominated visitors enter Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026—whether traveling by air through Dubai International Airport (DXB), maritime cruise terminals, or land ports—the system automatically confirms their arrival. Upon verification, the resident host receives a customized rewards package exceeding Dh3,000 in total value. The curated incentive packages encompass a wide spectrum of lifestyle benefits. Hosts can redeem complimentary or heavily discounted vouchers across luxury hotel stays, high-end culinary destinations, iconic leisure attractions, and wellness retreats.
