The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has confirmed its participation in the 2026 edition of the 'Make it in the Emirates' forum. The move targets the expansion of Dubai’s industrial sector by integrating advanced manufacturing technologies into the local supply chain, specifically focusing on the D33 economic agenda goals. Industrial Expansion Targets Dubai aims to double the size of its economy over the next decade. The manufacturing sector currently serves as a primary pillar of this growth, with specific emphasis on 3D printing, robotics, and green energy components. By participating in the national forum, Dubai entities plan to present investment opportunities to international manufacturers looking to establish operations within the emirate’s specialized free zones, such as Dubai Industrial City and Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza).
