Dubai Holding Real Estate project to house 5,500 people as keys released

The developer began delivering units on 17 August at the redeveloped gated community, which is expected to house 5,500 people.
Nakheel, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding Real Estate, began handing over 892 residential units at its Jebel Ali Village development on Monday, 17 August. The handover signals the start of occupancy for a project expected to house approximately 5,500 residents upon completion. The gated community consists of modern villas and townhouses located off Sheikh Zayed Road. The delivery follows a period of redevelopment aimed at transforming one of Dubai’s oldest residential suburbs into a contemporary gated district. Khalid Al Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Real Estate, stated that the handover marks a new chapter for the established destination, which is designed to accommodate the changing requirements of Dubai residents. Infrastructure and Community Facilities Residents moving into the new clusters will have access to landscaped parks, open green spaces, and dedicated walking and cycling tracks. Each residential cluster within the village includes its own swimming pool and children's play area. A community pond and various sports facilities are also part of the initial phase of the development. Additional infrastructure is scheduled to open in subsequent stages, including a dedicated community centre featuring retail outlets, a clubhouse, a gym, and padel courts.
