Dubai expat dies at Hyderabad airport during flight to Kerala for Onam

Saneesh Babu, 48, suffered a fatal cardiac arrest at Hyderabad airport while travelling from Dubai to Kochi for the Onam festival.
A 48-year-old Dubai-based Indian expatriate died of a cardiac arrest at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Sunday morning, 9 August, while travelling to Kerala for the Onam festival. Saneesh Babu, who served as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) for a building access solutions company in Dubai, collapsed while waiting to clear immigration during a layover. Incident at Hyderabad Airport Babu was on a flight from Dubai to Kochi with a scheduled stop in Hyderabad. Airline officials confirmed to the media on Wednesday, 12 August, that the passenger collapsed shortly after landing and before he could board his connecting flight to Kerala. Despite medical intervention at the airport, he was pronounced dead. The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Police coordinated with the family to facilitate the transfer of the body after the medical emergency was recorded. The airline arranged for the repatriation of Babu’s remains to Kochi on Sunday night, as his family members in Kerala were unable to travel to Hyderabad on short notice.
