Dubai Customs graduates 36 students to boost Emirati career readiness

Dubai Customs graduated 36 students from its "Masar 33 – Nafis" and "Dubai Summer Camp" programmes on Friday, 28 August, concluding a month-long training initiative designed to align Emirati youth with future labour market demands. The cohort included 26 students from the summer camp and 10 from the Masar 33 – Nafis track. The programmes operated through a collaborative framework involving 12 entities, comprising five government bodies and seven private-sector organisations. During the training, participants were embedded in real-world professional environments to gain practical experience and career guidance across diverse economic specialisations. Integration with Dubai Economic Agenda D33 The initiative forms a core component of the department’s strategy to support the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. By providing early career exposure, the programme aims to bridge the gap between academic education and the specific skills required by the UAE’s expanding logistics and customs sectors. Mohammed Al Ghaffari, Executive Director of the Customs Inspection Division at Dubai Customs, stated that the training serves as a foundation for students to make informed educational and career decisions.
