Dubai Chambers signs MoU with Trendyol to accelerate growth of SMEs

Dubai Chambers and Trendyol sign an agreement to provide SMEs with 40% commission discounts and specialized digital training.

Dubai Chambers signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with e-commerce platform Trendyol on Tuesday, 18 August, to provide local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with discounted access to digital sales channels. Under the agreement, Dubai-based businesses referred by the Chambers will receive an exclusive support package to accelerate their entry into regional online markets. Commission discounts and visibility support The partnership offers eligible SMEs a 40 percent discount on introductory commission rates for the first three months of operation. This rate doubles the standard 20 percent discount offered to general sellers and extends the grace period by an additional month. Businesses will also receive dedicated homepage visibility on the Trendyol platform, free advertising credits, and priority account management to assist with product uploads and technical onboarding. Khalid AlJarwan, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, stated that the collaboration is intended to help businesses expand their presence across e-commerce channels and strengthen digital capabilities. Since its UAE launch in 2023, Trendyol has onboarded more than 15,500 regional sellers to its platform.
