Falcons valued at Dh1 million headline the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026, drawing a global assembly to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The exhibition, now on its second day, runs until Friday, September 6, affirming the deep cultural and economic roots of falconry in the region. Early falcon auctions, held before the exhibition, netted Dh1.772 million from the sale of 26 birds. Event organisers confirmed one pure gyrfalcon sold for Dh255,000, underscoring the premium collectors and enthusiasts place on these prized birds. ADIHEX 2026 welcomes 2,405 exhibitors representing 71 countries. Beyond the falconry displays, the exhibition spans equestrian sports, hunting equipment, and traditional crafts, offering a comprehensive view of heritage pursuits.
